Still going for gold…

The troupe of our latest gardens show Greed, Glamour and Grudges- Tales of Gold was privileged to be able to recreate our show at the end of the school term to educate children from St Josephs Primary, Queenstown Primary and Remarkables Primary Schools. Students who had been learning about the gold rush in Central Otago 150 years ago were treated to various local characterisations and scenes from the gold rush era. Thanks to Queenstown Primary for hosting the performances. If you missed the shows a public performance will be held again at Labour weekend in Arrowtown.

Play of the month kicks off in August

Remarkable Theatre is proud to be bringing play readings back to the Wakatipu. Play readings are a great way for actors of all abilities to get involved and to showcase plays that may not be suitable for performing as major productions. Our play reading season kicks off on the 5th August and various plays will be read on the first Sunday of every month.  The venue is Dux de Lux and entry costs just $10 and includes your first drink.  The reading starts at 7.30pm.
